The story

It was wonderful to plan and design a heritage project and guest suite in Ein Karem, Jerusalem. This is a 150-year-old house that could tell us a great deal about its past residents, the passers-by, the view and its history.

I had the privilege of designing the home and guest suite of a wonderful family, from planning and adapting the building to its new residents, while keeping its character: the arches that decorate the house and the ancient, original Jerusalem stone that clads every corner.

The work included construction drawings for the contractors, carpentry plans, new material selections for the whole house and its styling, all to meet the family's needs and bring the new choices into the old building.

So when you stroll through the lanes of Ein Karem, stop by the beautiful old buildings. My signature is there, in an old house that is home to a remarkable family.
