Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website comfortably, including people with disabilities. The site is built and maintained to be clear, easy to use and accessible to all.
Accessibility level
The site has been adapted to the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations and to Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA.
What we have done
- A clear page structure with ordered headings, and the same menu on every page.
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a clear outline on the element in focus.
- Text alternatives for images, and clear labels for buttons, links and form fields.
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and background.
- Support for text enlargement and for every screen size, including mobile phones.
- A pause button for the changing photos on the home page, and respect for the operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
- Correct language and text direction for Hebrew and English pages.
Using the site comfortably
- Zoom in and out: Ctrl and + / Ctrl and - (on a Mac: Cmd and + / Cmd and -). Back to normal size: Ctrl and 0.
- Move between elements: Tab forwards, Shift+Tab backwards, Enter to select.
- In the photo gallery: arrow keys to move between photos and Esc to close.
Limitations
We work to make every page accessible. Some elements may not yet be fully accessible, for example a few project photos have a general description only. We keep improving accessibility on an ongoing basis.
